Verification of Enrollment

A VOE, or Verification of Enrollment, is an official school document that confirms a student is currently enrolled and attending school. It is commonly used in Texas and other states for legal or administrative purposes involving minors.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a VOE, students must:

  1. Be currently enrolled in the district at the time of request.
  2. Maintain ≥ 90% attendance in each class (no more than 10 absences per semester).
  3. Be in good academic standing, meaning passing grades in all classes.
  4. Understand that once issued, the VOE expires 30 days after issuance

Timeline & Follow‐Up

  • Allow 72 hours for processing after submitting your request
  • VOE expires in 30 days (90 days if issued during the last five days of the school year)
