Senior Decision Day

What is Decision Day?

Each year National Decision Day is May 1 – the day many colleges and universities ask you to commit or notify them of your enrollment for the Fall semester. Our students, our schools, and community gather to celebrate the many post-secondary pathways the Class of 2024 will be taking after graduation and the final step of their academic and career planning process. The post-secondary pathways seniors have chosen include college, trade school, military, and the workforce.

This year, we are asking for your support and help! Every year at Senior Decision Day, our students are entered into a drawing to win prizes donated by the the district and the community! As we prepare for decision day, items may donated by an individual, business, organization, school campus, or on the behalf of specific department.

The College & Career Center Team asks that you drop off (or email) your donation with our team only. Physical donations may be dropped off with Mrs. Chase, or Mrs. Broom in the C. E. King High School College & Career Center. Please ensure your donation is labeled with the Donor’s Information. For example: Sheldon ISD Advanced Academics, Null Middle School, Multilingual Dept., Etc. Electronic donations such as eGift Cards may be emailed to Mrs. Chase at MeaganChase@sheldonisd.com. We will confirm receipt of your donation and we will try and let you know what lucky senior was awarded your
donation. If you need for us to come to your campus and pick up your donations please let us know beforehand and arrangements can be made.

On behalf of the College & Career Center Team, GEAR, UP,  the Class of 2024, C. E. King High School, and Sheldon ISD we are grateful for any and all support for our Senior Decision Day!
