Hello C. E. King High School Panthers!

I am Scott Merry. I have been in education for 20 years. I have been a coach, teacher and administrator in my time in education. My wife of 15 years is also a teacher and we both are children of teachers. We are firm believers in creating environments that create well-rounded educated young men and women that will be the future leaders of our community and society. The same values we work to instill in our daughter to be a competitor and life-long learner, we work to create opportunities for the students we teach to have these same opportunities.

Education begins with building relationships and teaching our future generation how to build relationships and become life-long learners. By creating an environment that allows all students to grow as scholars, competitors, and members of their community, we can help ensure that the students that we teach will have a better future than what we currently have.

My goals at C. E. King High School is to provide leadership for our staff that will reflect in continuous success by our students in academics, extracurricular activities, and social and emotional growth.

I look forward to being a part of the Sheldon ISD and C. E. King Community this year and years to come.
