College & Career Center

The King High School College & Career Center’s mission is to assist the students of C. E. King High School, Sheldon Early College High School, KASE, and C. E. King 9th Grade Campus with their post-secondary planning as they progress through high school. Our goal is to provide every student with individualized college and career advising and assistance to ensure their success in different facets of their lives beyond high school graduation. We assist with college and career exploration, college application, SAT & ACT exam registration, understanding and applying for financial aid, scholarships, military enlistment, understanding student’s academic profiles, and fee waivers for those who are eligible. The Center is conveniently located on the 2nd floor of C. E. King High School directly above the Front Office, and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. The CCC staff also hosts different events throughout the school year outside of school hours to provide Sheldon ISD families with additional support as their students complete senior year and prepare to transition out of high school.
