Annette Clark

My name is Annette Clark and I am the Dean of Instruction for Sheldon Early College High School.  I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a program with such a rich tradition of excellence. I am excited to share my 22nd year in education with the amazing students, parents, and staff of Sheldon ECHS.

I have been a member of the Sheldon community for the last 11 years, both as a resident and an employee.  Prior to serving as Dean of Instruction for Sheldon ECHS, I worked as the Coordinator of Innovative Programs and the Sheldon T-STEM Academy.  Prior to that role, I served as a teacher, instructional coach, specialist, and coordinator.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and my Master’s degree from Lamar University.  My passion lies in supporting students to reach their full potential.

As your Dean of Instruction, it is my goal to work together as a school and family partnership to support students in achieving the goals that they have set for themselves.  Sheldon ECHS students will receive a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality education that will provide the tools necessary for success in both high school and college coursework.  Together, we will uphold the ECHS mission of preparing our young adults to be college and career ready and to be productive citizens of our community.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time with questions.  I look forward to an excellent school year!
