Dr. Rachel Polk

I am honored and proud to serve as the Assistant Principal of CE King High School where students and faculty are excited about learning. Here at CE King High, we build positive relationships that will nurture the heart and educate the mind of our scholars. We also take pride in partnering with our parents and community to celebrate the growth of our students and their academic successes.
I completed my undergraduate work at Texas A&M University, and continued my graduate studies at Lamar University where I obtained the following degrees: Master of Secondary Education and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership.
My career in education began 24 years ago as a 6th grade English teacher. Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I taught English, Reading, and Speech at the Texas Youth Commission. My role as an administrator began in Liberty ISD where I worked at both the elementary and high school levels.
When I am not at school, I enjoy movies, music, reading, shopping, and trying new places to eat. I love spending time with my wonderful family and friends.
CE King High School is an amazing place to work. I am happy to be a part of the Sheldon ISD family and look forward to an exciting school year! I am walking in my purpose and I love it!
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
