Wendy Markert

Welcome to Ms. Markert's home page! This is now my twenty-second year teaching and my sixth year at Sheldon Early College High School. I earned a B.S. and M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, an M.Ed. in Secondary Education (Math) at the University of Massachusetts Boston, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in ESL from George Mason University, and an MAT with a concentration in Graduate Math from the University of Houston Downtown. I've taught in 3 different countries (all on different continents) and in 5 different states. I love to travel and so far I've visited 56 countries and 6 continents!

For the 2019-2020 school year I will be teaching Pre-AP Algebra II and College Algebra (a dual credit course through San Jacinto College). I look forward to a great year with your students! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me.
