Connie Menn
My teaching career began in the Fort Worth ISD before moving to C. E. King Middle School. This is my 21st year at C. E. King High School where I teach Professional Communications and Dual Credit Public Speaking 1315. I have been honored by peers and administrators as C. E. King High School Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year for Sheldon ISD.
With the honors given to me, it is my responsibility to continue my purpose in helping all students become even better versions of themselves. I consider every student to be the best student in the whole school because when they come to me, they are on their A-game with shared respect that builds relationships. At the end of each class, every day, every semester, every year, I bid my students farewell with “Happy Trails” for I only want good things to happen to them until we meet again. Teaching teens is not a job, it is my purpose, my calling, and my opportunity to invest in the future.
