Alexycia Thomas

Hello, My Name is Alexycia Thomas. I am an Alumni of C.E King High School. I am so happy to be back home and give back to our students. C.E King High School is an amazing place to be! It feels great to teach at the same High School that made me the person I am today. I graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Services & Family and Consumer Sciences.

I am currently working on my Master’s Degree from Texas Southern University as well in Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I taught English in GPISD for a semester at North Shore 10th Grade Campus. I am a first year teacher who is very eager to impact the youth.

My motto for Education and educators will be “ Children need to be seen & heard”. Each child needs to know that they have your support as their teacher. I am so excited to teach subjects that’s near and dear to my heart. I love to see students learn and enjoy it! Let’s have a great year! Go panthers!
